Anthony Kelly and David Stalling

Anthony Kelly grew up in and continues to live in Dun Laoghaire, and has a strong connection and knowledge of the area and its sound related phenomena. David Stalling has visited and spent much time exploring the borough of Dun Laoghaire over a period of twelve years. Both artists draw on their shared experience of engaging with the community of Dun Laoghaire.

Over the last decade, artists Anthony Kelly and David Stalling have collaborated on a series of sound art projects that have utilised the practice of field recording. Recording in locations as diverse as Newfoundland, Tasmania, Egypt, France, and the Aran Islands, they have wide experience in developing sound based projects.

Anthony and David also give sound recording workshops for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

Carlos Añazco

Carlos Añazco is a Dublin based designer. Carlos developed the design and coding for A Sound Map of Dun Laoghaire. He is a frequent visitor to the borough and has a keen ear for sound. Peter Cautley

Over the past year or so Peter has been managing the digital archiving of A Sound Map of Dún Laoghaire. Peter has lived in the borough for much of his life and has a keen ear and memory for many of the sounds associated with the area. Many of these sonic memories can be heard in the Lost Sound and Field Recordings sections of this project. He has worked for almost three decades as a software developer.
